
MySize, a Kaya business partner, provides retailers with an AI-driven, easy-to-use AI widget and app called MySizeID, which combines a brand’s specific size charts with the customer’s individual size/fit data, to provide each shopper with a highly accurate, personalized size recommendation. Taking the guesswork out of size shopping online is a win-win for both customers and brands. Customers can shop with size certainty, free of body-image associated anxieties about online shopping, and brands using MySize have documented a significant reduction in returns and a substantial increase in AOV and customer loyalty.
MySize’s size recommendation technology is poised to revolutionize the apparel industry, which has witnessed massively high return rates even long before the pandemic, largely due to free shipping both ways and multiple size ordering. MySize utilizes Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and its own proprietary sizing databases to provide customers with a size recommendation that is personalized to their individual body shape, and has been proven to reduce returns by as much as 50%. Additionally, the MySize widget has demonstrated overall improvements in ROI and has unlocked additional operational efficiency savings. Among MySize’s growing international customer base are popular brands including Levi’s, U.S. Polo and Speedo, along with large workwear providers such as Tricorp.
Dedicated web-environments: A new partnership
MySizeID technology is available to retail apparel brands that provide dedicated web-environments to their clients. Kaya builds and integrates apps into a brand’s ERP in a manner that is both secure and easy to use. Once the MySizeID app is coded onto a brand’s product pages, the MySizeID widget actively recommends a personalized size to each customer. MySizeID can be integrated with any third-party POS system and provides a stream of up-to-date data insights about inventory and customer behavior. Kaya supports integrating MySizeID with both Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Uniconta ERP-systems. Both systems can connect to the Dynamicweb e-commerce platform.
Sustainability and in-store solutions
A key goal of the MySize-Kaya collaboration is to contribute to a more sustainable world. E-commerce staples such as “free return shipping” and over-ordering due to size doubts have been proven to increase CO2 emissions and therewith the industry’s carbon footprint. MySize and Kaya are working together to help apparel brands lower their carbon footprint by reducing returns and increase customer certainty and satisfaction. In addition, during the pandemic, MySizeID’s self-measurement feature allowed for contactless, at-home size measurements via a user’s mobile phone.
As both online and brick-and-mortar stores recalibrate in a post-pandemic retail world, customers can also use MySizeID in-store, by utilizing their personal MySizeID profile to select the correct size off the shelf. This therefore reduces reliance on fitting rooms. In 2022, MySize introduced a new, in-store POS called the FirstLook SmartMirror, which is powered by MySizeID’s AI/ML algorithms. It shows shoppers how a clothing item will look on their body without having to physically try it on. Customers can also scan a QR-code on the tag of a desired item and receive a personalized size recommendation. The FirstLook SmartMirror also lets customer skip the line and pay for their purchases by tapping the FirstLook SmartMirror or via the MySizeID app.

Kaya and MySize began their close business collaboration by helping a large client in the workwear industry successfully integrate MySizeID into their e-commerce platform.
