
When doing business with a partner, or when looking for a new job, you often wonder about the story and the people behind a company. Who are they and what are they all about? This is the story of Kaya’s employees and our vision for the future.
Our colleagues
The Kaya team currently consists of around 25 people, located in both the Netherlands and Turkey. Most of these are our consultants and developers who make our clients’ lives a little easier every day. Together, they have years of experience and tons of knowledge with ERP systems. Some have decades of experience whereas others have just started their careers, but we all learn from each other. The average age at Kaya is 41. The age range is very wide, with our youngest team member being 22 and the oldest being 74. The diversity within our team is also reflected by our nationalities: many of us are either from another country ourselves or have international partners. Lastly, we also live all throughout the Netherlands: from Amsterdam to Friesland, you might just run into one of us. Still, our office in Veenendaal, in the middle of the Netherlands, allows us to all come together!
Vision for the future: employees
According to Peter van den Brink, owner of Kaya, it is vital for Kaya’s future success that we strive to be ‘’simply the best’’. It is important to understand not only the ERP solution, but also the processes that are at play at the client. Then, you will grow very naturally, and clients will start asking for the individual consultants and developers we employ, because clients know that we really have the right expertise. Our employees are valued by clients because they know what to do. Also, Kaya attaches great importance to employees getting certifications, because they basically serve as proof of our expertise. If you know how the product works, you can apply it to different organizations. And by working for these organizations, you learn about their processes as well.
Vision for the future: Kaya
Kaya works together with other parties within a conglomerate. We belong to this group of organizations and, by working together, we grow as a center of ERP-expertise. Many parties are interested in Kaya due to the projects we have done and the knowledge we have. Additionally, Kaya is very stable as a company, which is highly appreciated by the market. We do not aspire to bring professionals in areas such as Business Intelligence, Azure or Office into Kaya, because that would mean that we have too many different specialists. Instead, by focusing on a limited number of topics, we ensure that we have a lot of expertise within these fields and can serve as a trusted partner. We’ve never had the ambition to become a very large company. For Kaya, the phrase ‘’quality over quantity’’ is key.
Vision for the future: our clients
In the future, we believe that we will still have similar clients to the ones we have today. However, the work we do for them will change over time. The work will be more centered around consultancy, such as: how can I get the maximum potential out of the system so that my organization runs as efficiently as possible? More will be asked from the developers as they need to tie together all of the influential connections within the ERP system, such as connections with banks and distribution systems. In any case, the future is only partially within our control, but we are surely excited to continue being a trusted partner in ERP!
